Critical Thinking Project – the Stephen Hawking Foundation

We are proud to have worked with The Stephen Hawking Foundation on their new series of educational resources that ask the Big Questions! The series is designed to allow secondary school children to think, debate, research, criticise and make a decision on complex issues regarding science and society, within a classroom setting.

For the first in the series, we created a critical thinking assembly and lesson plan for secondary school aged children to enable children and their families to ask the big question ‘Are Vaccines Safe?’ and to help them to make informed decisions about vaccinations.

The educational resources were free to all schools and are designed to promote critical thinking, ask big questions and provide reliable, well sourced information to help school age students investigate complex issues regarding science and society, within a classroom setting. The teaching tools were also backed by the National Education Union and the Runnymede Trust.
