BLUEWATER YACHTING

Document Production / Illustration / Print

We never realised how complicated it was to run a yacht. BlueWater charters, sells and provides crew services for large yachts. They asked us to redesign and reformat 15 of their yachting manuals – everything from First Aid to Law to Applied Marine Engineering.

We created a new style and template which was smart, clean and easy to read. Where needed, we also recreated some of the illustrations and graphics keeping them consistent with the style of the manuals. Crucially, the documents needed to be kept in Microsoft Word so they could be regularly updated by the instructors who run their training courses. Therefore, we had to make sure that the templates were functional as well as attractive.

The result was a series of manuals that were consistent and style and feel, beautiful and also practical and adaptable in style.
